2017 Lincoln MKZ vs Acura TLX and Infiniti Q50
Much more than just a pretty face, the new Lincoln
MKZ offers a generous helping of power and driving pleasure, as well. While two
Lincoln MKX rivals, the Infiniti Q50 and the Acura TLX deliver only 208
horsepower and 206 horsepower respectively, the standard engine on the new
Lincoln MKZ blows those figures out of the water, coming in with 240 horsepower
and an impressive 270 pound-feet of torque for power you can really
feel.
How else does the new Lincoln MKZ distinguish
itself from its fellow premium sedan foes? Well, circling back to the Acura
TLX, this particular model can be equipped with one of two engine options;
however, if you're looking for the added security that comes from all-wheel
drive, you will have to be both willing and able to dish out nearly an
additional $10,000 dollars more for the brand's technology package.
Meanwhile, its Infiniti counterpart, the Infiniti
Q50 requires you to upgrade to the brand's sport package for a customized
driving feel, whereas Lincoln Drive Control is standard across the entirety of
the 2017 Lincoln MKZ lineup. The Lincoln MKZ widens
the gap between itself and the Infiniti Q50 when you consider the fact that
certain features such as adaptive headlights, heated front seats, and memory
seats are available only as pricey add-ons to the Q50, while they come standard
on all new Lincoln MZK models.
